Patient Derived Models

Custom cell disease models can be derived from a wide range of donors

DefiniGEN Vials in Dry Ice

iPSCs from patient-derived cells hold great promise for studying disease. But generating iPSCs from patient derived cells can be challenging. Just as genetic variability between patients can affect the manifestation of the disease, that same variability can affect how easy-or difficult- it can be to create iPSCs from a specific patient's cells and then successfully differentiate those iPSCs into a mature cell type.

At DefiniGEN, we've been successfully creating patient-derived iPSC models for almost a decade, and have workflows optimized from start to finish to maximize the likelihood of generating high-quality iPSCs from patient-derived cells and then differentiating into the mature cell type.

What we offer

DefiniGEN's patient-derived iPSC custom cell model development service covers the entire process from patient sample sourcing and iPSC generation to differentiation, validation, and cryopreservation.

We maximize the likelihood of a successful outcome in a number of ways, including through the use of multiple donors and clonal lines. By starting with several different source cell lines and constantly evaluating each line's performance, we can efficiently identify the most suitable line for large scale custom cell model production.
